Working with the Full Moon in Aries
Updated: Feb 22, 2022

The Moon grows full in the sign of Aries as she moves to oppose her brother the Sun in Libra. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, ruler of the First House of Self. As such, Aries energy may leave you feeling, well... a little self-involved. With the Ram as avatar, Aries' feistiness can easily be interpreted as being stubborn, hot-headed, and argumentative. He can be impulsive and sharp-tongued, a battering ram with an agenda.
“I don’t give a damn that you’re twelve years old or eleven years old…
You have humiliated me for the last time.”
– Alec Baldwin, Actor, Writer, Film Producer,
Political Activist & Aries
Rams are daring and love a challenge, always in search for a steeper mountain to climb. Their optimism and courage entices others to follow them and because of that make terrific leaders. They are visionaries and an inspiration to their community.
“Don’t be buffaloed by experts and elites. Experts often possess more data than judgment. Elites can become so inbred that they produce hemophiliacs
who bleed to death as soon as they are nicked by the real world.”
– Colin Powell, Politician, Diplomat,
Retired Four-Star General and Secretary of State, & Aries
“No” is not in their vocabulary, they are doers and take action, taking things head on to get the job done. Ruled by Mars, Aries is more than willing to get into a fight or two to get his way, in fact, they welcome it.
“People don’t understand the kind of fight it takes
to record what you want to record
the way to want to record it.”
– Billie Holiday, Jazz & Swing Singer, & Aries
You may find them anxious to wrap things up so they can move on to the next job or project. At times they simply leave things unfinished, as something new and shiny captures their eye. This is because of their low threshold for boredom, creating a tendency toward restlessness, impatience and spontaneity.
“The difficulty for me is that I’m interested in so many different things.
I could never really imagine myself doing one thing,
And I’m pretty sure that I’ll end up doing four or five different things.”
– Emma Watson, Actor, Activist & Aries .
There is a gravitation to be the centre of attention and they have the self-confidence to pull it off. Aries goes out into the world presenting their unique self for all to see; an act not for the faint of heart.
“I am a walking piece of art every day,
with my dreams and my ambitions forward at all times
in an effort to inspire my fans to lead their life in that way.”
– Lady Gaga, Singer, Songwriter, Actor & Aries
As the first of the three zodiac signs within the Spring season, Aries is all about new beginnings. Excellent energy for the Full Moon Ritual. Six months ago we had the New Moon in Aries inviting us to plant seeds. It is now time to harvest those seeds - what worked, what didn't, what needs to be nurtured, what needs to be released?
