Working with the Full Moon in Aquarius
Updated: Feb 22, 2022

The Full Moon is opposite the Sun in the sign of Aquarius. Regardless of what your rising sign might be, for a couple of days each month we are all under the influence of the Aquarius Moon.
So, what defines Aquarian energy? In a word – individuality. The Aquarian does not follow the crowd and does not fall in line (Virginia Wolf). They think for themselves, marching to the rhythm of their own drum (John Belushi). They are also the humanitarian of the zodiac (Oprah Winfrey). Often sacrificing themselves for the sake of the greater good (Abraham Lincoln). They tend to be social (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart), community-conscious (Susan B. Anthony), charismatic (Jennifer Aniston), and have a knack for influencing others (Chris Rock).
The New Moon is the beginning of the lunar cycle and the Full Moon marks the halfway point; but it is also the pinnacle. Those who are more sensitive can actually feel the energy, and when the Full Moon is in Aquarius, you may find yourself a little more spontaneous than usual, rebellious even.
"Yet if a woman never lets herself go, how will she ever know how far she might have got? If she never takes off her high-heeled shoes, how will she ever know how far she can walk or how fast she could run?" - Germaine Greer, Writer, Radical Feminist and true Aquarian.
Consider the two key qualities of the Aquarian: unique and humanitarian. To best work with this energy is to figure out what novel capability you bring to the world to make it a better place, whether you’re gifted in music, or science, or computers. Perhaps your superpower is simply to make other’s smile. Whatever it is, it’s yours exclusively, and exclusively yours – start radiating it out – the world needs you right now.
