Soul Musing - Take Back Your Power

Sometimes it's just easier to shrug your shoulders and point the fingers elsewhere. Words like: "it is what it is", "life's not fair", and "no one gets me" tumble from your lips as you inadvertently hand over your power. It leaves you with a million and one excuses to remain indifferent to your very existence and the responsibilities that lie within; to lounge in stagnation as you watch your dreams one by one wither and fade. Blaming circumstances, or those around you, requires no effort on your part. It gives you a free pass to do nothing.

In the Toth system the Seven of Wands is known as the "Lord of Valour". Why? Because it suggests dealing with situations and people head on. To not pretend that issues don't exist and bury your head in the sand. To not be steamrolled, cowering in the corner afraid to speak your truth.

Instead, feel it. Acknowledge it. Then take a stand.

It is time to take back your power.

Begin by looking inward instead of externally at your situation. Acknowledge where you are and be grateful because it is exactly where you need to be. Ask yourself what you are supposed to learn from this experience. Because until you do, life will just keep serving up more of the same. You already possess all you need to move out of your comfort zone and take the first step toward growth and expansion. I promise!

Begin to climb that mountain and hold your ground as you do. Be loving - but not insecure. Create boundaries – but remain open. Be compassionate – but not weak.

I know you can do this. You are strong. You are brave. You are worth it.

You've got this!
