I Know Right?
Another amazing photo by Juanita Coetzer for this New Moon in Virgo Blog.
I am especially honoured because the fair maiden in the photo is Juanita's daughter,
who just happens to be a Virgo!
Happy Birthday sweet darling.
Juanita is a freelance photographer from South Africa and you can see

Tonight, the Sun and Moon unite at 14˚ Virgo. This, the day before the world returns to her hustle and bustle, back to the rhythm of everyday life. When the New Moon is in the sign of the Virgin, it’s time to take inventory of your life – your loved ones, home, health, work - and pay attention to the finer details. Use the grounding energy of Virgo to contemplate where you are in your life and what (if any) things need to change, and then get busy designing a schedule to help you create the life of your dreams.
"If you don't take the time to think about and analyze your life, you'll never realize all the dots that are all connected." - Beyonce, Singer, Song Writer, Actress & Virgo
Start with daily patterns and routines. Virgo is skilled in establishing and/or transforming habits and rituals – are there any you need to create? Or get back to? Or tweak? Virgos are known for their commitment to self-improvement, and daily practice is an automatic way for this disciplined sign to get everything done. Take a page from the Virgo book by copying her practical and methodical approach; but at the same time avoid her need for perfection.
"Winning takes precedence over all. There's no gray area. No almosts." - Koby Bryant, NBA Player & Virgo
Set in place a routine to help you start your mornings on the right foot, move calmly and efficiently through your day, and end your evening feeling satisfied and serene.
Virgos are all about service to others. You will often see this sign identified by a maiden holding a sheaf of wheat which is symbolic for the implementation of ideas and skills to benefit (nourish) the world. Ponder the ways you can incorporate helping others into your day to day; be it a co-worker, a neighbour, or simply donating to the food bank.
“Love cannot remain by itself – it has no meaning. Love has to be put into action, and that action is service." - Mother Teresa, Catholic Nun, Missionary & Virgo
Virgos are so efficient and logical that they can get easily frustrated with those who aren’t. In their quest for perfection they can become nitpicky so watch the criticism - directed at others and/or yourself.
“I’ve been all over the world and I’ve never seen a statue of a critic." - Leonard Bernstein, Conductor, Composer, Pianist, Author, Humanitarian & Virgo.
Above all, this is a terrific time to get organized. Summer vacations are over, and people hit the ground running to offices and classrooms. The more prepared you are, the less overwhelmed you’ll be.
